Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:
Provide administrative support to the Marketing Director and Merchandising Manager to ensure smooth and consistent operation of all Marketing Department endeavors.
Responsible for sorting, coding and processing all Merchandising invoices in a timely manner.
Responsible for maintaining Merchandising supplies inventory, including oversight of off-property storage and coordination with mail runners for storage/retrieval.
Assist with preparation of inter-departmental meetings.
Responsible for sorting and routing all incoming mail/packages for the Marketing Department.
Facilitate the ordering, delivery and installation of furniture and merchandising items.
Support all team efforts towards continuous improvement.
Computer drafting support of sales offices and construction details.
Review Model Maintenance reports and perform required Model Maintenance to keep the model parks functioning and presentable.
Other duties as assigned or required.
Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree Preferred but not required. Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design preferred.
Proficient in AutoCAD, knowledge of rendering programs (Sketch Up, Photoshop) preferred.
Strong organizational skills and people skills – must thrive in work environment with multiple deadlines and tight work schedules.
Ability to establish priorities and achieve desired outcomes in a timely manner.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Proficient with mainstream PC desktop applications (Windows, Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
Must be detail-oriented and able to multi-task.
Should be a team player, willing to help others, takes ownership and initiative and has a positive attitude.
Must be comfortable on a construction site, participating on new home frame walks and working in the field occasionally.
Occasionally assist in furniture assembly and moving.
