Job Summary

The Marketing Associate is responsible for managing and executing engagement programs to maximize web traffic, business, and revenue for The Achievement Group (TAG). They will lead planning, preparation, and implementation of newsletters, email campaigns, and other strategies to drive engagement for TAG. The position requires ongoing reporting to various members of the TAG staff and analysis of campaign performance and recommendations for new strategies to meet goals. The Marketing Associate does not communicate with clients. No certifications, licenses or supervisory responsibilities are required for this position.

Duties and Responsibilities

Manage operations related to marketing campaigns, email programs, newsletters and newsletter-related programs, achieve goals by recommending and planning effective campaign strategies in order to maximize performance, communicate effectively with TAG team to produce newsletter content and deploy newsletters that are of the highest quality, and coordinate efforts with acquisition teams to promote list growth while maintaining list quality.

Monitor metrics to identify trends and provide strategic direction for future campaigns, tests or additional programs, and stay current on industry news and trends that affect email deliverability and conversion rates.

Understand CAN-SPAM and other current and proposed legislation that may impact email programs.

Perform general office duties such as copying, scanning and data entry.

Support TAG in a variety of other duties and responsibilities, as required by management.

Education, Work Experience and Other Requirements

This position prefers a four-year degree or a two-year degree in Marketing, Business or equivalent training and/or experience. Email Marketing and/or experience using an email platform is required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must. A strong commitment to a team culture and a positive attitude is required, along with meticulous organization, speed, diligence, accuracy, initiative, timeliness, attention to detail, professionalism, time-management skills and the ability to work independently.

Knowledge and Skills

The individual in this role must have a thorough knowledge of how to use the Internet and Microsoft Office programs such as Outlook, Word and Excel. A qualified candidate will have experience and knowledge of email marketing programs and CRM systems such as MailChimp, Campaigner, InfusionSoft, and Salesforce. This position also requires the ability to operate copiers, scanners and other office technology, along with a capacity to maintain confidentiality and work well independently in a fast-paced environment.
