Under the supervision of the Library Service Center Manager, assists with the daily Library Service Center Operations, provides backup to branches when there is a staff shortage due to travel, sick, vacations, etc. This position also supports special projects within the University Libraries as needed.
-Experience using library software
-Experience with Library MARC records
-Experience using a Raymond order picker or similar equipment
-Experience picking orders in a warehouse setting
-Experience working in a public service capacity
-Experience in Windows-based computer environment and data entry
-Experience using library resources (books, periodicals, reserves, print architectural
drawing, etc.) and services (circulation, reference and backup for closing of library)
-Ability to work effectively in a team environment
-Academic Library experience
-Raymond Order Picker certification/or experience
-Warehouse experience in an academic library environment
-Experience working in a high density storage facility
-Experience with customer order fulfillment
Must have an acceptable and safe driving record, Must have a driver’s license check, Other (Describe Below)
Must have a conviction check:
-Must have a driver’s license check and have an acceptable and safe driving record.
-Must be able to be certified on the Raymond Order Picker within 3 months of employment.
-Must be able to work from high places.
