Essential Functions:
Contributing to a designated project or initiative to meet a KP business objective.

Report development and analytics.

Project management – planning, execution, and measurement.

Learning new applications needed to complete assignments or support the execution of business objectives.

Job shadowing in other functional areas.

Performing additional duties as required.

Department Profile:
Kaiser Permanente is launching a new Human Capital Management (HCM) Cloud technology in late 2018.This system enables employees, managers and HR professionals to more quickly and easily access Human Resources services and conduct HR transactions. Our goal is to evolve our HR systems and capabilities to support the people of Kaiser Permanente in focusing their attention on deliver on on our mission of high-quality, affordable health care to our patients and members.

Internship Project:
Graduate interns will be staffed based on previous experience, skills and training in support of the larger HCM Program effort. The Program will be looking to staff interns in the areas of our Project Management Office, Product Management Office and / or Change Management team, where significant work is well underway in support of our project timelines. Specific project / work assignments will be aligned to business needs and applicant profiles.

Internships can be either full or part-time depending on qualified candidate course work and schedule. Start date – early to mid-September 2017

Pursuing a graduate degree or have completed a graduate program from an accredited university within the last year.

Additional Requirements:
Aptitude to perform data and process analytics and formulating solutions.

Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications:
3.0 GPA or above

Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills

Proven ability to build effective working relationships as well as strong interpersonal skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to learn quickly and experience producing high quality work in short periods of time.
