About the Program

The Comcast/NBCUniversal Finance Internship Program will provide high potential, rising college seniors a unique opportunity to experience one of our many finance functions within the Comcast footprint over the course of the summer. During this time, you will have the opportunity to work in one of our many exciting locations while building your professional skill set. You will also gain exposure to key business and financial leaders and will be provided with opportunities to develop your business and financial acumen. At the conclusion of your internship, you may be considered for full-time employment, including our CORE Finance Rotational Program, to commence upon successful completion of your degree program. About CORE Finance

CORE Finance will launch you towards success at Comcast. Recent college graduates will have the unique opportunity to experience three different full time finance positions within the Comcast footprint over the course of two years. Your first rotation will be a one year assignment, while your second and third rotation will each be six months in duration. As you rotate, you’ll have the opportunity to work and live in different areas of the country while building your professional skill set and gaining exposure to key business and financial leaders.

Collective Learning & Development sessions will serve as ongoing building blocks to further your business and financial acumen. Additionally, you’ll be paired with a mentor to encourage individualized coaching during the early stages of your career.

Possible Internship Assignments

Your responsibilities will vary based on your assigned function, and is designed to provide you with a thorough understanding of the entire business. Generally, our internships fall within the following functional areas:

  • Example Corporate Treasury, Assurance & Advisory (Audit)
  • Operational Finance
  • Example Video Product Finance, Film Finance
  • Financial Planning & Analysis
  • HQ FP&A, News FP&A, Cable Division FP&A
  • Business Operations
  • Example Procurement, Business Intelligence, Competitive & Business Analytics
  • Controllership
  • Example Cable Accounting, NBCUniversal Accounting
  • Reporting
  • Example Internal Reporting, SEC Reporting, Customer Reporting

Minimum Qualifications

  • Entering final year or semester of Bachelors (or Masters) degree program.
  • Graduation Date must be between December 2018 and May 2019.
  • Major in Finance, Accounting, or Business
  • Minimum 3.4 cumulative GPA required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Prior business exposure through internships, work experiences or campus organizations preferred.
  • US Citizen or Permanent Resident required.
