Our Electrical Maintenance Technician Intern is responsible for learning how to support and continuously improve plant electrical equipment integrity, reliability, cost and on stream factor.
During your assignment, you will be exposed to many Electrical Maintenance related activities at the plant, including:
* Basic Safety Training
* Investigation of equipment failures, determine root cause of failure,
* Participate in routine PM.
* Participate in the planning and execution of minor and major shutdowns. Provide technical and hands on support as required during maintenance tasks.
You will receive guidance from the local Training Coordinator as well as our full time Maintenance staff.
This paid opportunity is to provide the Electrical Maintenance student with an introduction to Industrial Gas Production, improving their future employability after graduation from the program.
The internship assignment is usually 11 weeks, but can be 4 to 11 weeks depending on assigned work.
All interested applicants must be currently enrolled in an accredited Electrical Maintenance program pursing an Associate’s Degree and have completed at least 30 hours of college credits toward the degree.
