Annual salary is commensurate with experience up to $119,357.00

The Kaua’i County Council is accepting resumes from Certified Internal Auditors or Certified Public Accountants to render services as County Auditor to conduct or cause to be conducted audits of all county funds, programs, and operations of any agency or operation of the county to include performance audits of funds and programs or operations as requested by Council by resolution, and to perform all related duties including supervising and managing the office staff.

This appointed position will serve for a period of six (6) years and may be extended.

Possession of a bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, or public administration or related field, and certification as an internal auditor or certified public accountant is required.

Possession of at least five (5) years of experience in the field of government auditing, evaluation, or analysis is preferred.
