Responsible for researching and manipulating finance data elements to compile and develop complex financial reports for analysis. Designs, plans and integrates multiple relational database applications. Develops programming codes and scripts for reports and projects. Analyzes and verifies reports for variances, balances and discrepancies. Tests and updates system changes. Maintains Finance system security groups and users’ access to systems. Conducts user training and provides guidance on using department systems and utilities. Develops and maintains the department website and web content management. Assists with new software implementation for the department to enhance Finance services.

This is a temporary position intended to backfill the current incumbent who is moving to a multi-year project.

This position is open until filled with an initial review date of September 10, 2017

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or Associate’s degree with an additional two years of related experience required.

Minimum of four years related experience required.

Detailed oriented, strong analytical skills, and the ability to research information for problem solving.

Must have knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server or similar application, Extensible Markup Language (XML), Microsoft Visio or similar application, and experience with a variety of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Systems.

Mainframe Database

Preferred Qualifications:
Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) certified preferred.
